Who Is Responsible

The Short Version

• This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools.
• Fonts and images are served from our own server, not from third parties.
• We only receive personal data from you if you sign up as a founding merchant or email us.

Visiting the Site

To deliver a page, our server necessarily processes your IP address and the details your browser sends with every request. The site itself keeps no access log. Our hosting infrastructure may briefly record connection data to keep the service secure and working; we do not use it to identify visitors or build profiles.

The site is hosted on servers rented from DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, Germany.

When You Sign Up as a Founding Merchant

The form sends your name, email address and what you sell, plus your shop address, country and message if you give them, to our server in Frankfurt, Germany, where they are stored in our database. We do not store your IP address with your sign-up. We use these details only to contact you about Rarium and the founding merchant programme, and we never sell or share them.

When a sign-up arrives, our server emails us a copy through Resend, a sending service that processes it in its EU region, and the copy lands in our Google Workspace inbox (see below). We keep your sign-up until you ask us to delete it, or until the founding merchant programme ends and we no longer need it.

When You Email Us

If you write to us, we use your email address and what you send us to reply and, if you are interested in Rarium, to keep in touch about it. Our email runs on Google Workspace, which may process data outside Switzerland and the EU under Google's contractual safeguards. We keep the correspondence as long as it is needed for that purpose or required by law.

Your Rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write toprivacy@rariumboxes.com. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local data protection authority.

The Rarium App

Merchants who install Rarium in their Shopify store are covered by the app's own privacy policy atapp.rariumboxes.com/privacy.
